A huge part of Team Alabama is our Donor Families and Living Donors. While not able to compete athletically, we could not even imagine the Games without them.

The Family Bond
Our Donor Families and Living Donors help us prior to and during the Games to carry the message that organ donation works. They are our best cheerleaders, fund raisers and have helped form the family bond that is Team Alabama.
Many of our team members have not met their own donor families so the Team Alabama Donor Families have come to exemplify the amazing decisions that our donor families have made that have given us this second chance at life.

If you are a member of a donor family or a living donor that has given an organ, a part of one or bone marrow to someone please contact us for more information. We all work together so there will not be a financial burden attached to the Games.
